Dan F
Love playing all things house on the CDJs and seeking out those club bangers.

Dave Harris
I started playing around on decks in 1990 same year as I started raving and listening to pirate radio to get names of tunes to go and get in London. Once that all calmed down 95 I got into more indie stuff so the dance stuff fell away as it wasn’t my seen so much anymore. Then 15 years after still with some vinyl I got asked to play at charity events, birthday party’s etc. I now play mainly digital and have gone back to download tunes I didn’t get back in the day. I generally play old Sasha&Digweed stuff along with pumping house, hard house etc. I’ve always loved the darker less commercial stuff but as from back in the day when most DJ sets had so much different character within tunes as long as it sounds good I’ll play whatever within reason. I try to make my sets take you on a journey of up&down sounds so then something for all hopefully. I dislike all the same genres one after the other as it can get boring but maybe that’s just me. I’ll look forward to playing my stuff in the future and really hope you enjoy it. Thanks all DAVIDHARRIS

Dean Hockridge
Vinyl DJ who's been on the decks for 30 years plus years now. Avid collector & selector of a range of styles. Have played various clubs & pubs around hometown. Love being a DJ for the Vinyl Countdown.

Debora V
From the age of 15, Debora would spend her weekends in record stores hunting down that tune she had pestered the DJ about in the last rave / club / party, soon building up a nice collection of rave and house.
With no interest in mixing and more interest in dancing, she spent a season as a cage dancer in the legendary BCM club in Magaluf in the early 90s. Its was only just before lockdown in 2020 that she decided to try and learn to mix together her 30 year old vinyl records.
A girl on a mission - she purchased some belt drive Stanton’s, a £20 mixer from Facebook and with YouTube on hand she started her mixing journey. In early 2021, her DJ journey began when she was asked to join an all girls online radio station. With an upgrade to some 1210s and digital decks,
Debora continues to learn and continues to expand her vinyl collection. Debora has played at pubs & clubs across the UK and more recently in Ibiza.

Iron Mike
I started buying records in the 90s, inspired by his brother bringing back mixtapes from raves like World Dance. I was also obsessed with listening to Kiss 100 at the time, and in particular the breakfast DJ Steve Jackson who introduced me to the new UK Garage sound and producers like Todd Edwards and Tuff Jam. I started collecting Garage and was lucky to play in many clubs and bars across the South East. I have also played weddings and parties.
My style has developed over the years and now like to play a mixture of genres spanning soul, disco, funky, deep and bouncy house and of course Garage both on vinyl and digital.

JCB
Having been into the Happy hardcore Scene, attending the likes of Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, Tasmania and Hardcore Heaven,
I Purchased my first set of Soundlab belt drive turntables in 1996. Collecting Happy Hardcore and Jungle Records (which I now regret selling) and playing at many youth clubs around Kent and some under 18 events.
Then in 1999 I won a competition on Pete Tongs’s BBC Essential mix.
The prize was a set of Technics 1200 MKII’s and a mixer.
Still using the same set today.
Music taste transitioned into Trance and House on the turn of the Millennium.
Remained a bedroom DJ as real life took over……… until Covid Lockdown, where I started regular streaming on the Trance Addicts Twitch events.
A chance meeting with Debora V resulting in getting involved with both live streaming and live events with the Vinyl Countdown group.
My Love of Dance music is ongoing, ranging from 90’s house, through Trance, Techno, Drum& Bass and Hardcore. (although Trance music makes up most of my record collection).

I began playing vinyl back in the 90's, playing at crazy House parties across South London. Took a break and returned to the scene via digital and I haven't looked back.
Started sharing mixes during lock down which led to my own radio show. I now play across various stations and platforms and love it.
I guest DJ at numerous venues across the South East and put on my own events too.
Always looking for new music from new producers and banging new versions of 90's classics. House and Tech House are my fave, but who doesn't like a bit of Funky House thrown into the mix.
Music is all about the love and friendships that follow 🩵

Lisa Richardson
Lisa started mixing 18 years ago and loves many genres of music, in particular piano house music, rave house, old school, breakbeat, trance and tech house. She took a long break to have a family and fell back in love with DJing in the summer of 2020. Since then, she sailed into to the quarter finals of the Mixmasters 2021 mixing competition, scoring a 10/10 by Nicky Blackmarket and now plays at events alongside DJ's such as Slipmatt and Clarke+East, to name a few.

MACH2
After developing a love of emerging electronic music in the mid 80s. I was lucky enough to enjoy the exploding UK rave and club scene of the late 80s and early 90s. I loved the artistry of mixing and started to buy a few bits of vinyl, taking the odd turn on friends gear whenever I could, before buying my own 1210's in 97.
From there I learned the basics -playing house parties, a few clubs and some more regular gigs at bars in London and the South East.
After emigrating Australia in 2003, I effectively gave up mixing until, in 2021, I decided to treat myself to a digital controller.
Access to new music, making online connections with other DJs and airtime on digital radio stations have reignited my love for mixing and dance music. I play regularly on local and UK-based digital radio stations and am actively working live clubs in Western Australia.

Mick
My love of rave music started in the late 80's when I was found frequenting raves in warehouses and marquees in the middle of nowhere. Then moving on to clubs and spending two seasons in Ibiza, my love of dance music was cemented.
Towards the end of 2022, I decided I would like to have a go on the other side of the decks.
I bought myself a digital system, took advice from other local dj's and here I am now.
My sets so far have been Old Skool rave, the tunes that got me into dance music in the first place.

Mickey Cologne
Based in Westgate on sea, passionate about music from all walks of life. The music I love and play is deep tech, tech house and deep house, influenced by the free party scene in days of old. I love building musical journeys based on this sound and sharing it with others. I love connecting with like minded party people and sharing the love for the music.

Mista Jay
Old bloke who was brought up on reggae music from a toddler and still love reggae today.
As a teenager the rave seen broke out into the UK in fields, warehouses ect. which I totally loved and at that time I was already throwing reggae parties in quarries and acid house parties in Squats and on Camber Sands beach so started partying at the raves and we also used to hold a few small dos ourselves in clubs
I started playing the decks in 89 when my mate would let me on his decks! My love of playing music just keeps growing, we were playing out at local venues such as the Hill Top, Weirton Manor, Atomics, Feast of Friends, Banks and just having fun trying to make some tunes and generally enjoying life with the help of music.
Now days I still play for fun and just recently, have started remixing dub reggae which is great fun!

Based in The Netherlands. Playing with vinyl for a lot of years but the last ten years digital took over. Have played for several different radio stations (nu disco and jackinhouse for one and techhouse for other stations) the past years and still enjoying it very much.

Nobby
I got into the dance music scene back in the early 90s with the help of parties like rain dance ,dance 90, amnesia and the free party scene in Maidstone and surrounding area's to name a few. I decided to get some turntables,Gemini ones I think to see what it's all about and the rest is history. Around about 92 I helped DJ Spellman (Spencer vinten) run infectious records in Tonbridge and then Tunbridge Wells where I built myself a vast record collection up from old skool rave to techno. My main love is techno but if there's a rolling baseline I'm all over it as those who know me will now. Been out of the scene for yrs but thanks to the vinyl countdown and paradox FM I'm back doing what I love whether it be digital or vinyl.Big respect to all those involved in these groups ❤️

Phil Lewis
My love affair with electronic, indie and hip hop began in the mid 80's and I was well on board the 90's roller-coaster of the breakbeat, house and techno! Love to mix up the genres in my sets and enjoying getting back to spinning vinyl.
Been in and out of so many clubs and parties over the years and met some amazing people and DJ's, becoming great friends. See you on the dancefloor!

Originally from Maidstone now living in Adelaide South Australia. Started going out in town to youth clubs and discos (Howard De Walden, Trinity disco) then started to go to the Kent Hall, Mondays and Saturdays. I think it was there that my love for house music starred, the tune that had me hooked was Russ Brown's "find a way" from them on I was buying music and digging the scene, before we knew it Acid house was born and we were frequenting the likes of Vienna's and Gabriel's while trying to find out where the real parties were. A few years on and while sitting in the Plantation pub in Bearsted's beer garden Jay Smith, Mac, Pete Saunders and myself had a discussion about starting up a pirate radio station. The next week Smithy and I were in the same garden and Mac and Pete appeared with the windows down on a motor with a test transmission playing from a transmitter that had built. This was the beginning of something that Maidstone truly needed! I played a few sets at St Luke's road, then one Saturday it got raided as I was about to go on, as I drive around the corner I witnessed a sea of blokes in suits and old bill and a pair of feet disappearing over the back wall! I just drove past. Things got going again from a bedsit near Haynes then a shed in Detling and the excitement never stopped Fast forward to 3 years ago and good friends Spencer and Stacey started up vinyl countdown out of lockdown boredom and I had to be part of it. I don't really consider myself a DJ and I'll be the first to admit my mixing isn't the best, but I love house music and paying my tunes to who will listen.

Spellman
I’ve been into music for as long as I can remember. Secretly playing my Dads vinyl when he was out & I was always the one that created & copied the cassettes for mates. In the late 80s I was an indie kid & when Acid House hit, I was instantly hooked & naturally gravitated to DJing. I opened my own Dance Music shop in the early 90s & this led to throwing parties & more DJing. It will always been in my blood & I still enjoy sourcing music old & new. The Vinyl Countdown is just another wonderful piece in the never ending jigsaw & has enabled me to further share my love of music with a wider audience.

Stacey
I got into the rave scene from the start really. I was in Ibiza in 88 and my love of dance music has been something I can’t kick. I love the vibe you get from a filled space with epic music and like minded people.
I love playing vinyl and digital music and one day I might even be good at it. Until then I will do what I’ve always done and that’s have fun 😊❤️🥂🍾

A Vinyl DJ for 30 years now. Starting with my first belt drive decks and mixer in 89, after going to Raindance that year, I've always played House music. Old School house, Hard House and more recently Funky/Tech House.
I've been lucky enough to play some great venues and clubs over the years, and still do now.
Most of all I love entertaining a crowd.
Never gone down the digital road, so it's a Vinyl Life for me..
Vinyl is Life..❤️
